surreal  abstractions
During the COVID pandemic, my fabric supplies were dwindling. Coincidentally, someone left a bag of scarves at my studio door.  I brought them in and began my workday cutting shapes from solid-colored fabrics and then cut the imprinted silks layering them inbetween each other which created surreal abstractions.  This gave my work  a whole new dimension. It was a breakthrough.
